Katharina Volgger (1985) is a licensed architect. Her academic journey led her to the Technische Universität Graz, the Aarhus School of Architecture, and the Iceland Academy of the Arts. Since 2013, she has worked in both local and international offices in Graz, Basel, Cologne, and Berlin, contributing to a wide range of projects - from housing to urban planning - and across all phases, from conceptual design to construction. After working on various large-scale projects with HHF Architects and Barkow Leibinger Architects, Katharina joined BeL Sozietät für Architektur, where she oversaw the PalomaViertel project in Hamburg. Since 2022, she has run her own practice based in Berlin (D) and Bressanone (I).

In addition to her design work, she has taught at the Universität der Künste Berlin, Technische Universität Darmstadt, and Berlin International University of Applied Sciences, with a main focus on adaptive reuse.
